A FEW PAST PROJECTS
THE SHANGRI-LA HOTEL AT THE SHARD - LONDON
Linelive compiled a full suite of building manuals for the luxury five-star Shangri-La Hotel, situated between floors 36 and 50 within The Shard.
The project was challenging to say the very least, but the final outcome was incredibly rewarding and it makes us very proud to look at the London skyline and see The Shard, knowing that Linelive made a contribution to this landmark building.
OLYMPIC PARK - LONDON
In preparation for the 2012 London Olympics, Linelive was employed by John Sisk and Balfour Beatty to act as documentation handover managers for several buildings within the Athlete's Village. Linelive also created specialist manuals to aid this process.
The Olympic Development Association demanded the highest qulaity of work and we were happy to oblige.
In addition, Linelive also compiled and Environmental Controls Manual for the Aquatics Centre.
OCADO CFC - ERITH
Continuing Linelive's relationship with McLaren Construction, we were asked to compile the General Information & Building Fabric Manual for their project 'Dragonfly' - the construction of a new Ocado logistics and distribution centre in Erith.
The facility sits on an area of approximately 40 acres.
The building is one of the largest of it's type in the south east, with 560,000 sq ft. of distribution space and offices totalling nearly 28,000 sq ft. Along with the 'hard copy' O&M documentation, Linelive also produced electronic versions which were fully hyperlinked to all the supporting documentation. This allows the building manager to access the information via a laptop from any part of the site
ROYAL ARSENAL RIVERSIDE - WOOLWICH
Linelive has been working with Berkeley Homes for a number of years during construction of the Royal Arsenal Riverside development.
We have provided documentation for residential and commercial properties, developing an easily accessible format for these multi-phase projects.
BRIDGE THEATRE - CENTRAL LONDON
Linelive worked with Swiftline to compile the Mechanical Services and Electrical Services manuals for the new Bridge Theatre in London.
This was a technically challenging project due to the highly sophisticated heating, cooling and ventilation systems installed throughout the building.
Linelive's technical authors took all the available system descriptions, product data and drawings to create an easy to use manual, along with a clear schematic diagram describing the various system operations.
Swiftline was so pleased with our work that they have used the schematic diagram as part of their submission for a prestigious industry award.
Ashford Designer Outlet
Linelive worked with long standing client, McLaren Group, to compile a comprehensive O&M Manual and Building User Guide for major extension to the Ashford Designer Outlet.
The site now boasts both the largest fabric roof and green wall in Europe.
Hotel L'Oscar, Southampton Row, London
Linelive worked with our long standing client McLaren Construction to provide O&M documentation for their project at Hotel L'Oscar in London's Southampton Row.
This project comprised the refurbishment, restoration, extension and conversion of a Grade II listed former Baptist Church headquarters and Chapel located in Holborn, into a five star luxury boutique hotel.
The works included a vertical extension to provide an additional two floors and the renovation of the original chapel into a multi-purpose space for conferences and weddings. The hotel accommodates 41 suites, a restaurant, banqueting suite and library.
The project took place over two phases; phase one involved the structural and building fabric construction and phase two, the hotel fit out.
